SwipeLure Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information SwipeLure collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the SwipeLure dating service and this website. By using SwipeLure, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.

When you create and use an account, you may provide:

• Name and email address
• Password and authentication information
• Age
• City, area, or profile location
• Gender and dating preferences
• Biography and profile details
• Profile photographs
• Likes and matching activity
• Messages between matched users
• Reports, blocks, and safety information
• Account-support communications

Passwords are handled through our authentication provider and are not displayed publicly.

When you use the service, we and our providers may process:

• Authentication and session records
• IP address and basic device or browser information processed by service providers
• Security, abuse-prevention, and error information
• Dates and times of account activity

SwipeLure does not collect precise GPS location, phone contacts, microphone recordings, advertising identifiers, or payment information.

We use information to:

• Create and secure accounts
• Display profiles
• Apply discovery preferences
• Process likes and mutual matches
• Deliver messages
• Send account and security emails
• Handle reports, blocks, and moderation
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Provide support
• Comply with legal obligations
• Improve reliability and safety

Profile names, ages, locations, biographies, photos, and other selected profile information may be visible to other SwipeLure users. Messages are visible to the participants in the conversation.

We rely on trusted service providers, including:

• Supabase for authentication, database, realtime messaging, and file storage
• Resend for transactional authentication emails
• Vercel for hosting the public SwipeLure website

These providers process information only to provide their services and are subject to their own agreements and privacy practices.

SwipeLure does not sell personal information and currently does not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with the law, prevent fraud, investigate abuse, protect users, enforce our policies, or complete a legitimate business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for service operation, disputes, fraud prevention, security, and legal compliance.

You can permanently delete your account in the app from:

Profile → Safety & Privacy → Danger Zone → Delete Account

You can also review full instructions on our Delete Account page. Deletion removes your login, profile, photos, likes, matches, messages, blocks, and reports, except information that must temporarily be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your information may be processed in countries where SwipeLure or its service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your own.

SwipeLure is not intended for anyone under 18. Accounts believed to belong to minors may be removed.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below to make a request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
